Kelsey Nelson understands the importance of both homeownership and community investment. As someone who studied social sciences at American River College and urban planning at Arizona State University, she knows that when people are involved in their community, both the participant and society win. And as a fifth-generation Californian and second-generation real estate professional, Kelsey finds her greatest inspiration when helping people make investments in their futures and in their neighborhoods. In fact, that has been the driving force behind her real estate career since she became an agent in 2013.
As Boutique Real Estate’s team manager, Kelsey marshalls the expertise she gained as a full-time Realtor®, brand manager, and title company representative to be a resource to her colleagues and their clients. It’s her mission to support the firm’s many talented real estate professionals so that they can provide buyers and sellers unmatched service and have a positive impact on everyone who crosses their path.
Just as Kelsey strives to bring her best to every aspect of her real estate career, she also brings her best to her extensive volunteer work. She is proud to have volunteered for many causes over the years, including rebuilding homes and wetlands in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
Also devoted to bringing about positive change in her local community, Kelsey has raised tens of thousands of dollars while serving on several committees at the Placer County Association of Realtors®. The donations she has helped raise have benefitted organizations such as Acres of Hope and the Placer County Food Bank and have provided grants and scholarships to graduating high school students. Currently on the advisory board of the Young Professionals Network at the California Association of Realtors®, Kelsey continues to strengthen her exceptional professional skills and build her impressive network.
When Kelsey is not busy at work or in her volunteer efforts, she prioritizes wellness practices like yoga, loves to sample the cuisine at local restaurants, travels, and is always excited to learn more about virtually anything. But despite her many interests and busy schedule, she often likes spending time at home, hiking with her terrier-mix, Spock, or reflecting on the gratitude she feels for the many things she has been blessed with in her life.
